HK CTF Sharing / Workshop #9 “Revealing the security flaws in the cloud 2019” ( By Vincent Yiu, Sharing Language : English)
Vincent will discuss the rise of cloud technology , types of related services and corresponding vulnerabilities that have risen to the surface. He will discuss methodologies, demonstrate practical attacks and how it can be discovered and exploited the cloud in 2019.
Vincent will demonstrate a Physical Attack on a machine using HID device. Physical attacks are very real and exist in many scenarios we may not even consider. In this talk, he will provide a live attack demonstration, and break down the attack for the audience.

Speaker profile:
Speaker: Vincent Yiu – Equipped with some of the cybersecurity most hands-on offensive certifications including Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE), CREST Certified Infrastructure Tester and a CREST Registered Tester, Vincent is also a frequent Cybersecurity event and conference speaker for more than 10+ speaking engagements in UK, Singapore, China and Hong Kong SAR. Along with Kevin Matnick and a few other cybersecurity researchers, Vincent is one of the inventors of the USBNinja cable in which this “weaponized” USB cable can be used in a proof of concept social engineering attack.
Vincent is the CEO of the security firm SYON Security Ltd. He delivers strategic offensive security projects where his team attempts to breach organizations using the same techniques the bad guys would. Vincent details the issues in security controls along with recommendations to help his clients improving their enterprise security posture.
